Selfless to Self-care

To those of you who put others first, always want to make others happy, don't want to "rock the boat," and/or strive to make sure everyone else is "good" before ever thinking of yourself, I see you!

Caring for others can be great but it can lead to burnout, resentment, or disappointment if you don't take care of yourself, too.

Oftentimes people who want to please others will put their own needs last, minimize or deny their needs, or think that what they need/want is "selfish."

If this sounds like you and you're needing/wanting something but it seems "selfish" to you, you likely need to do it!

If you don't take care of yourself, you'll reach a point where you have nothing left to give to others.

Take care of yourself first (and let others hello care for you, too!). Allow your needs to be met so you can keep caring for others.
