I had a client say this to me recently, followed by “you should share what I said for your marketing.” Will do!
As a counselor, I like to use a lot of metaphors and analogies to help better communicate or demonstrate concepts. I love it when clients also do it right back!
In this case, the client definitely had a “tune up” or “adjustment” type of session where they simply needed a little reinforcement of existing knowledge and skills, as well as a little help taking a different perspective on things.
They said they felt much better at the end of session, just like after a chiropractor adjustment.
